The Southport Wrap Top is perfect for a day at the beach or a fancier day at the office. Wear it over a swimsuit or with a nice high-waisted skirt. You’ll want to wear this top through the summer and into the fall!
This stunning project is worked from the top down with a raglan construction for the sleeves. It is worked back and forth in rows increasing on each end all the way down to create the overlapping wrap top. After separating for body and sleeves, work the full body down to the ties, then return to work the rest of the sleeves. Keep the sleeves short or continue working them for a longer sleeved version. Starting ch2 does not count as a stitch.
Finished Measurements
Finished bust measures 29 (33, 37, 41, 45) (49, 53, 57, 61)” but widely variable depending on the tying of the wrap, meant to be worn with no ease.
I suggest choosing a size based on arm measurements.
Upper Arm Circumference measures 10 (10.75, 11.5, 13, 13.5) (16, 17.5, 19, 19.5)” and Armhole Depth measures 6.5 (7, 7.5, 8, 8.5) (9, 9.5, 10, 10.5)”
